Does anyone have any more of that album? There was a faster tune on there, that was amazing. I havent heard that album since about '90. If you look at the album cover, Steve has some serious groove look happening with the thinning hair, and the pimpin' shaded glasses......
Funny... I guess that playing was in his "previous", pre-Freddie life, eh? Great.
Now I remember! Wasnt there a swing tune, called "Creeping something". That was a great tune....

I found the whole thing in mp3. I've never heard this disc before, it's pretty good.
I much prefer this Steve Smith to the Gruberized crappy sounding set Steve Smith. he doesn't need to swing ALL the time... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah, it's a cool recording...i bought it at the time, & still have it on VINYL [img]eek.gif[/img] [need to put it to disc!]...circa '87, Passport Records...Berlin, Scott Henderson, T Lavitz, & SS...it's a live album [rec'd live at Hop Sing's by The Record Plant, 1-19-86]...tracklist:
